Hope Community

WHAT IS HOPE COMMUNITY AND WHY DOES IT EXIST?

Hope Community is a place where people can connect who are in the same rhythms of life and are taking action regarding orphan care.

Often times, we will run into families that have the financial means to foster or adopt a child, but may not have the support system.  Organizations like ours have a tendency to just focus on how we can financially support a family and get them to the point where they can bring a child in to their home.  This is extremely important, but what is also vital, is families having the confidence and knowledge that they are not going at this alone.  Being in community with like-minded families that are experiencing the same things that you are or have “been there, done that”, can be life-giving to new families in this mission and to those that have been in this calling for a long time.

                                                                                                              HOW DOES IT WORK?

We were created to be in community with one another.  We were not created to make a go of life and all of its experiences, on our own.  Foster care and adoption are no different.  Throughout the year, we hold BBQ's, get togethers, and connect families together that are a part of Child Hope Services.  We also provide the links of other organizations that are in our same mission field, opening up a wide range of resources to families.  We can also connect mentor families with new foster care or adoption families.
